Dr Ethel Felice is a Consultant Psychiatrist with special interest in perinatal Mental Health. She established the Perinatal Mental Health Service in Malta in 2000 and was appointed Consultant in 2003.

She is a Visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta and holds an MPhil from Keele University as well as a Master’s degree in Perinatal Mental Health from the University of Glasgow. She is a member of the Marcé Society and President of the Parent-Infant Mental Health Alliance.

Dr Felice is married, has two children, and is a grandmother.

Dr Felice contributes to MyMama's Nanna & NannuĀ grandparents course by leading the interactive discussion on emotional wellbeing and family relationships during pregnancy and the early months after birth. Drawing on both her professional expertise in perinatal mental health and her personal experience as a grandmother, she guides grandparents in understanding how best to support parents during this important transition, recognise signs when extra support may be needed, and nurture healthy, respectful family dynamics as they step into their new role.
