The postpartum period is a TRANSFORMATIVE time for a new mum, but that doesn't mean that it's always sunshine and rainbows.

SO MUCH is happening that sometimes it's even hard to remember what day it is or when you last showered. You might feel overwhelmed, isolated, most probably exhausted and lacking confidence. Baby blues, postpartum anxiety or depression may creep in. And your body just doesn't feel like YOUR BODY... yet.

For the third webinar in this series, we're putting the spotlight on what happens to your body AFTER childbirth.

No matter how it unfolds, childbirth is one of the most physically demanding experiences you'll EVER go through - your body will need time to rest and recover! Ignoring signs, rushing through your recovery or going back to your pre-pregnancy activities too soon can be harmful.

During this talk, our midwife Annabelle Cachia will be discussing realistic postpartum care guidelines, so in the midst of those beautifully chaotic days when you're totally focused on your baby, you will already know how to ALSO CARE FOR YOU.

Join us to learn about:

  • body changes following birth - bleeding, stitches, soreness, breast engorgement and others, and what to do about them

  • new mama nutrition - what to eat to support your recovery, and if you're breastfeeding, your milk supply

  • the importance of rest, being easy on yourself and self-care

  • your mental health

  • planning resources and support for the postpartum period

  • Q&A time with our midwife
