Would you like to EMPOWER YOUR CHILD with the knowledge and skills to handle emergency situations?
Our Kids Learn First Aid course series has been designed to make kids aged 9 - 12 years aware of potentially dangerous scenarios as they go about their daily lives, and teach them WHAT TO DO should the worst happen.
The THREE COURSES in this series address different themes and our expert tutors use age-appropriate scenarios to deliver each session:
-
WATER SAFETY
-
SAFETY AT HOME
-
ROAD & CAR SAFETY

DEBBIE GATT
FIRST AID INSTRUCTOR
Debbie Gatt first became interested in First Aid during her time at the Girl Guides, and her accident-prone sister provided plenty of opportunities for Debbie to practice her skills! Debbie later went on to train and serve with the Emergency Fire and Rescue Unit, becoming a First Aid instructor and coordinator.
Now she is a First Aid instructor and First Aider with Emergency Malta, the leading private emergency ambulance company in Malta.
Debbie is passionate about helping parents and kids learn how to recognise when a First Aid intervention is required and how to administer it safely.

LIDWINA SCHEMBRI WISMAYER
AQUATICS INSTRUCTOR
Lidwina Schembri Wismayer is a mother of three and a qualified Occupational Therapist. After practicing as an OT for 19 years she decided to make a career change and pursue her passion for water and early childhood development.
She established Baby and Toddler Aquatics school Giggle’n’Splash in 2014, and feels that her expertise as an OT provides her with a solid foundation of knowledge and sensitivity which she transfers to her Baby and Toddler Aquatics classes. Lidwina also trains other swimming teachers in lifesaving techniques and water related first aid.

REBECCA BUTTIGIEG
ENGINEER & ACCREDITED CARSEAT SAFETY ADVISOR
Rebecca started out as an industrial engineer but later found her true calling in science communication. She started studying car seat safety and started sharing her new knowledge with other families. Rebecca spent several years as a volunteer car seat safety advisor in a UK car seat safety Facebook support group, and travelled to the UK to receive an IOSH-accredited qualification in car seat safety.
Rebecca is a passionate car safety advocate and strives to dispel common misconceptions and clarify queries about what we should be doing to stay safe when travelling by car and when on the road.
